Merry Christmas From Our House To Yours

Here at Coastal Charm, we would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! I hope you all have a wonderful time with your families celebrating the birth of Jesus. We will be celebrating by going to our candlelight service at church tonight (it's my favorite service of the season). We are doing something new this year, we are having a Christmas Eve brunch. I have been thinking about doing this for a few years now, so it looks like this is the year. Today, I am sharing our AUBURN tree with y'all, and I bet our family might just have a few Auburn items as gifts this year, you think?
                                               Blessings,
                                                  Linda

Yes...we are part of the Auburn family!!!

                                       Santa says....WAR EAGLE!!!!

Something new found it's way to
the tree this year...our Iron Bowl
                                 tickets! Oh yes...these tickets were
early Christmas gifts to each other,
and what awesome gifts they were!

The 2013 football season has been unreal, it
still feels like a dream, but it's not, and we are
going to the BCS National Championship game
on Jan.6! Win or lose, this is a year that will go
down in history as one of the BEST!

Custom Picture Frames

Hello y'all! Do you have your shopping, wrapping and baking all wrapped up? I hope to finish my wrapping tonight, and tomorrow will be spent baking some yummy treats for friends, family and of course a little for myself. Today, I dropped off about a dozen custom picture frames at the shop, for those last minute customers. These frames were a lot of fun to create last night. There were several that I hated to part with, but I just can't keep everything that I make, now can I? One of a kind items are my favorite gifts to receive, how about you, what are your favorites? Okay y'all, now stay calm, we will all get it done in time. So, enjoy your weekend and don't forget the "reason for the season"!
                                                Blessings,
                                                   Linda

Christmas In The Kitchen and Dining Room

 Hello Friends!
Thank you for all of your warm & kind comments you shared after touring my
mini Christmas Home Tour, over at my Christmas linky party. Today, I will be sharing the two rooms that have to do with eating...oh boy!
So come on in, grab a cup of coffee or cocoa, and enjoy another mini Christmas home tour! I’ll start out by saying our house is never this clean, things were shoved out of the way to take pictures, we don’t have a perfect home, and it took days to clean up just so I could take a few photos. Ok, whew, glad that's out of the way, so now we can start the tour.
Blessings,
Linda
Here we are in the kitchen...the fun room:)

Found this huge architectural corbel fresh off
the truck from a pickin trip in Franklin, TN. It
                                                 was love at first sight.

Some more vintage goodies can be found here too.

I put my vintage scale here 11 months ago,
and it hasn't been moved once, now that's a
rare thing for this ole gal.

My take on snow globes. Okay, I like
to be a tad bit different.

Who remembers my red Tonka truck
that I purchased at the Chapel Market?

Oh yes, I knew when I spotted him, that
he would be hauling a Christmas tree in
a few months and here he is!

Kinda liking this simple centerpiece. Don't you just
love this new ironstone piece that I found for $6? She
is so classic, and I tell you this, she will hanging around
here for a very long time.

Now, let's step into the dining room.

My favorite dough bowl is filled
                                                with some pretties.

Here I have our tree with all the
                                    special family ornaments...some
                                               date back 28 years.

Me and my nontraditional tree skirts. This
is a vintage tablecloth that I am using this
year as a tree skirt, and next year you might
just find it on the kitchen table, you just never
                                                       know with me.

These little light-up bears are from
our early years....that would be the
                                              wonderful 80's!

                                     New and old mixed together.

If you have not already joined in at my CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR LINKY PARTY, then please stop by and link up your home with us, or just visit around and get inspired. The party is live until Friday night...you can find it by clicking here.
